Post-Partum Doula
Essential
Nourishment
To thrive in
Motherhood.
The birth of your child is a sacred window that deserves great care, nurturing and abundant support. It is time when all of the focus is given to the new bub, and the mother can tend to come second, yet needs more care than ever. Many cultures honor this time with supporting the mother to rest deeply and provide practices of rebuilding and nurturing the mother after the work of pregnancy and birth. I’m a mother of two, I know in my bones how essential care and healing is after our babies arrive. The support I provide is drawn from my own mothering experience as well as gathered from the traditions of Ayurvedic, Moroccan and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices.
What does a Post-Partum Doula do?
Essentially is it all about Mothering the mother, a nourished mother results in a nourished family. A sneak peek into a day’s visit looks something like this: Bringing a warm nourishing meal (always), holding bub while mama takes a healing herbal bath, support with settling or breastfeeding, doing laundry, changing sheets, essential oil foot bath & massage, sharing thoughts and emotions arising, supporting mama to rest or nap.

MOTHERING THE MOTHER. I’m here to be your dedicated support, concierge and cheerleader through your fourth trimester and into the immeasurable transition of motherhood. You deserve it, without a doubt. I’ll be there with you from your pregnancy into the first four weeks after your baby arrives to lean on, vent with, gently advise, and show you again and again that your innate intuition is guiding you beautifully as a mum. Let’s not forget about the food, I’m a nourisher and I make delicious whole foods meals designed especially for post-partum healing and breastfeeding.
