Breath & Movement
Breath and movement are the hub of the Hatha Yoga practice. The two are one and the same and when woven together they create magic in many forms. Mia draws continuous and fluid attention to the breath as a guide through the practice of asana (yoga postures), meditation, and pranayama (breath control).
Yoga as a path has no limits, and yet creating a clear foundation of strength and alignment is key to reap the many benefits with stability and longevity.
Mia’s approach to Yoga is therapeutic and grounded in alignment, while guiding you to listen to your own body and follow its wisdom. She draws on her years of training and studies in Iyengar Yoga and Yoga therapy to bring great attention to structural alignment while supporting the individual towards a deeper embodied experience.
Mia teaches to all levels of practice, from the absolute beginner to advanced practitioner with the same intention, to meet them where they are and explore from there.
